WELLBEING AND SAFEGUARDING
SAFEGUARDING is at the heart of our school, and we believe it is everyone's responsibility.
At IIS, we ensure that all students feel safe, valued, and well cared for. We uphold our policies and procedures to promote all students' welfare, health, and safety at all times. Our robust policies comply with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education (ADEK) regulations.
Safeguarding is at the heart of our school, and we believe it is everyone's responsibility. We have a zero-tolerance policy for all sorts of bullying (physical, verbal, or cyberbullying), prejudice, and misuse of electronic and social media.
Ministry of Interior - Child Protection Center
Our safeguarding and child protection policies are shared with all stakeholders, and training sessions are given to staff and students. We have a Designated team to monitor students' safety and welfare. As a result, students and staff know whom to refer to for social, emotional, and well-being support.
