Abu Dhabi Chess Signed a Partnership with IIS

The Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club and the Italian International School signed a partnership agreement on 26 August 2022. At the Italian International School in Khalifa City, the Abu Dhabi International Chess Academy will affiliate with the club.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival by Suhail Al-Awadi, Director of Development and Professionalism at the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club, and Janet Desjardins, School Principal. The agreement will see students from different schools come together to play chess.
Chess is a great way for children to improve their cognitive abilities such as reflection, creativity, concentration and memory. The game also helps build confidence in children through participation in competitions at school level or even internationally where they can compete against other schools from around the world.
